How will you mount your fuse?
.

People contact me all the time looking for a particular fuse.  I give them the information they want and then I ask them a very simple question..."How were you planning to mount that fuse?".  Many times, the person has no idea what their options are so here are some ideas...

  • You can always use a leaded fuse...but choosing this method limits the future replacement of the fuse
  • There’s a pcb type fuse clip  (click to see some examples)
  • You can use a fuse block
  • Lastly...you can always use a panel-mounted, pcb mounted or in-line fuse holder

Those are about all your options...

Oh and remember...more often than not...the holder is a lot more expensive than the fuse...so give the fuse mounting some thought when selecting a fuse...

Thanks for all you continued support of OptiFuse.
