What color is your fuseholder?

When Henry Ford sold Model T cars, he boasted that the consumer can have "any any color of car that they wanted...as long as that color was black..."

Up until very recently, the same held true for panel mounted fuseholders..."any color...as long as it was black..."

Well the fuseholder tyranny is over...

OptiFuse is proud to announce our new line of colored panel mounted fuseholder.  You can now choose from red, green, blue, yellow (well...more like tan), and of course...black.

The color coding is especially nice if you use two or more different amperage fuses.  This makes it very easy for field service work (i.e. "replace the 4A fuse in the red fuseholder or the 10A fuse in the blue fuseholder")

PMA-KB-07-Q1R

The fuseholder P/N when using a ¼" x 1¼" (3AG) type fuse is
PMA-KB-07-Q1R-XX (-XX is the color).

This fuseholder comes with 3/16" (.167") quick-connect tabs that are 3/16" (.167") or you can also solder-on a the wire.  The tabs are at a right angle.  The cap is a bayonet (¼-turn) type.

OptiFuse also has a color-coded fuseholder for  5 x 20 mm type fuses.

PMC-KB-07-SOR

The part number for the 5 x 20 mm fuseholders PMC-KB-07-SOR-XX (-XX is the color).  The tabs are solder only (sorry...quick connects are not available on this model).  The cap is a bayonet (¼-turn) type.

Of course...both fuseholders are UL and CSA.

Once again...thank you very much for your support of OptiFuse as we try to innovate for a better tomorrow...
